Product Overview

Model CB86-SGVPO surface-mount speaker enclosure is made to install a vandal-resistant grille (model VRG-8 or SG-8VP) and 8" speaker in vandal-prone areas where tampering may be a concern. The galvanized steel enclosure has a white powder coat finish and includes one" thick batting. The enclosure can be mounted in protected outdoor areas when used with a moisture-resistant speaker or indoors.

Main Features

  • 16-gauge galvanized steel with white powder coat finish. Welded seams
  • 1" thick acoustic batting (yellow fiberglass)
  • Rear hole (0.875" dia.) for 1/2" conduit
  • Universal mounting pattern in rear for installation to 4"square, 4"octagon, 1-gang or 2-gang electrical box (not included)
  • Front formed flanges with rust-resistant 8-32 stainless steel press nuts will accept a screwmount grille
