Model 8A50-T870-S features an 8" 50W coaxial driver, the flagship of Lowell's A-Series with greater power handling, lower distortion, and smoother musical sound than standard commercial drivers and is ideally suited to venues where listening is a key part of customer experience. This model includes a mounted 70V 8W transformer positioned for shallow installation.
Main Features
- 8" 50W coaxial with 20 oz. LF magnet coupled with 1.4 in. copper voice coil drive a polypropylene cone with half-roll rubber surround for long cone travel and good edge damping. Post-mounted tweeter (1 in. balanced-drive dome) protected by Ferrofluid and first-order high-pass filter
- 20-gauge stamped steel with black enamel finish and zinc-plated back-plate
- 70V (1, 2, 4, 8W), shallow mount Transformer
