The E-1600A-TP2-EWP ADA Compliant Emergency Phone Replacement is designed to provide quick and reliable handsfree communication for any standard analog telephone line or analog phone system station port. The E-1600A-TP2-EWP is designed to be used with Talk-A-Phone towers, stanchions, pedestals, as well as surface, wall and flush mount enclosures. The phone meets ADA requirements for emergency telephones, and can be programmed from any touch tone phone. The on-board Viking BLK-4-EWP relay control module will supply a contact or switched 12VDC to activate a strobe light.

The Help button can dial up to 5 programmable emergency numbers, as well as 2 central station numbers. The Info button can dial up to 3 non-emergency numbers. The E-1600A-TP2-EWP can be programmed to automatically deliver a digital announcement to identify the location of the emergency call. Additionally, a DTMF touch tone code may also be delivered. A ""Call Connected"" LED can be initiated manually or automatically. The on-board relay requires external power to operate, however voice communication is possible during power failures. All phone numbers, location numbers, voice announcement and programming parameters are stored in non-volatile memory.

The E-1600A-TP2-EWP is equipped with Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP), ideal for outdoor installations where the unit is exposed to precipitation or condensation. EWP products feature foam rubber gaskets, sealed connections, gel-filled butt connectors, as well as urethane or thermal plastic potted circuit boards with internally sealed, field-adjustable trim pots and DIP switches for easy on-site programming.
