Designed for use with Adams Rite deadlatches or cylindrical locksets with 1/2" (12.7mm) to 5/8" (15.9mm) latchbolt projection. For use in aluminum, hollow metal, or wood applications. Open electrically under 25 lb (11.3kg) of preload. Preload is pressure exerted on doors by air conditioning systems, warping or misaligned hardware which can disable common electric strikes.
Main Features
- Basic 7400 strike has lip of proper length for 1.75" (44.5mm) thick door that closes flush with jamb edge
- Lip extension kits not available on 7401, 7431
- 7400 Series Electric Strikes open electrically under 25 lb (11.3kg) of preload
- Available in a variety of architectural finishes
