5x5" Break away baseplate designed for use on 2x2" gooseneck pedestals. This base plate is designed to break away from the mounting plate in the event that a significant lateral force is applied to the gooseneck pedestal. The nylon bolts and nuts that hold the two plates together are designed to shear, thus leaving the rest of the pedestal with minimal damage.
