Dark Cutting Oil is designed for threading steel and cast iron, and is recommended when cutting ferrous alloys and materials. It is fortified with a chlorinated additive that works as a pressure agent to allow an increased tolerance of alloyed or hard-grained pipe. Note; Dark cutting oil contains active sulphur which will stain non-ferrous materials including copper, brass, stainless.
