Product Overview

The HID Signo 20K PIV Reader offers an ideal form-Factor for installations requiring a narrow profile multi-Factor authentication reader with keypad. Based on the Signo platform, it reads any PIV-based card with a contactless interface that also contains a Card Authentication Key (CAK) certificate when used in combination with the HID Global pivCLASS Authentication Module (PAM) or pivCLASS Embedded Authentication. HID Signo PIV readers extend the HID tradition of best-in-class performance and meet government specifications for high assurance. As part of an integrated solution from a single trusted provider, HID Signo PIV readers enable strong authentication, FIPS 201 compliance and are designed to be highly versatile, powerful, and connected for the future. With HID Global’s pivCLASS solutions enabled readers, the U.S. federal government, government contractors and other facilities benefit from the broadest product line of trusted, fully-interoperable secure identity solutions in the market.
