The device includes an RJ45 RS-232 heartbeat monitoring interface that enables seamless failover by switching active status between paired units via a virtual IP address. This solution simplifies network management by using a single VIP for control requests, supporting deployments of all sizes requiring continuous, interruption-free operation.
