Product Overview

The Cleerline SSF Hybrid Demarc cable features a duplex design with one strand of SSF cable and one strand of BSF BendSafe traditional fiber in a zipcord style, encased in a 3 mm plenum-rated PVC jacket with a gray color. It supports 9/125 single mode OS2 fiber types with fiber sizes of 900 um and 250 um. The BSF fiber includes a 900 um buffer coating and is bend-insensitive, requiring traditional termination and handling, while the SSF fiber has a polymer coating. This cable is suitable for service demarcation and installations requiring both mechanical splice and fusion splice terminations. It is compatible with common connector systems for 9/125 single mode fibers, and BSF fibers allow fusion splicing without removing the SSF polymer coating. The cable is constructed with color-coded fibers (BSF in blue; SSF in orange) and designed for tensile loads of 500 N long term and 1000 N during installation, with a crush resistance of 100 kgf/mm. Temperature operating range is -20 to 75°C. Certified ETL Listed Type OFNP, CSA FT6, IECA S-104-696, and RoHS Compliant Directive 2011/65/EU.
