This Fiber Optic Visual Fault Locator works with virtually all common fiber optic sizes and connector types, allowing you to test cables prior to installation and troubleshoot patch and breakout cables for faults. Featuring a powerful 10mW laser, it makes faults easy to see, including breaks and performance-reducing bends in most fiber optic cables. Its durable aluminum construction is both lightweight and long-lasting. The convenient hinged flip-cap protects the laser tip when not in use, while the simple slide switch lets you choose between a flashing or solid beam. This tool is compatible with both 1.25mm and 2.5mm ferrules and operates for more than 20 hours on the included 2 AA batteries.
