The Middle Atlantic R412-4524B is a high-capacity four-post open frame rack designed to support deeper and heavier equipment such as networking hardware, VoIP systems, routers, switches, and telecom gear. This rack is part of the R4 Series, which offers enhanced stability and depth compared to traditional two-post racks. Available in two configurations—12-24 threaded rackrail or cage nut rackrail—it provides flexibility for various mounting preferences and equipment types, making it ideal for data centers, IT rooms, and AV installations. Designed for maximum versatility, the R412-4524B features an open-top frame that allows direct mounting of optional cable ladders for efficient cable management. Its adjustable base can be mounted inward to save space or outward for added stability, and the rack can be ganged with additional two-post or four-post racks for scalable infrastructure. The open frame design promotes unrestricted airflow, which is essential for maintaining optimal equipment temperatures in high-performance environments. Constructed from heavy-gauge steel or aluminum (depending on the model), this rack is built for long-term durability and ships flat to reduce shipping costs and storage space. It. Includes 100 fasteners and split rackrail to support up to three mounting depths, offering exceptional flexibility for complex installations. The R412-4524B is also TAA Compliant, making it suitable for government and institutional use.
