Solo is a phone-based, cloud-hosted access control system that is created and managed from the Paxton Solo app. With Solo, your phone is the system and the key. The Solo DoorTag is an NFC device that replaces a traditional access control reader. When a compatible smartphone, installed with the Paxton Solo app, is presented to the DoorTag, authorised personnel can gain access through the Solo-controlled door. The Solo - DoorTag is a passive device, requiring no power or wiring. It is added to the system via the Paxton Solo app.
