Product Overview

The DKPS-4A power supply / charger is designed to convert 120-240VAC, 50 or 60 Hz into a continuous 4A supply at 12 or 24VDC power outputs (switch selectable). The DKPS series power supply has 2 supervisory outputs (AC power fail and battery fail) and the power distribution controller board also has 2 supervisory outputs (DC Fail and status) that can be connected to remote access control units to monitor the power supply operation. Supervisory outputs have form C relay. This DKPS model includes a power distribution controller board that features electronic over-current protection on the 8 voltage outputs that can be used in a wide array of access control and egress door applications. Application permitting, the DKPS series power supply provides several standby battery options for continuous power in case of an AC power failure for a specified period of time. The DKPS power supply series also available in 2A and 6A models to suit multiple applications.

  • Convenient metal housing which can accommodate up to two (2) 12AH rechargeable batteries depending on your application
  • Status LEDs on enclosure front door (Green, Yellow, Blue)
  • Supervisory outputs for remote monitoring
  • Supplies 8V (12/24VDC at 2.0A) fail safe or fail secure outputs to support access devices including Electromagnetic locks, electric strikes and power bolts, Specialty Electric locks, Motorized Latch Retraction (MLR) and Egress doors and exit devices
  • Supervised connection to fire panel or access panel for automatic unlocking of specified doors
  • Remote reset of power supply after fire alarm
  • Optional front door tamper switch or dual door and wall removal tamper switches
  • Fault and overload protection
