The Norton 5700 Series low energy operator will use the 1601 size 1-6 adjustable door closer body, effective immediately. This update will allow one unit to cover spring sizes 1 through 6.
With this change, models 5711, 5731 and 5741 are discontinued.
The 5700 Series' proven, long-term reliability is further enhanced by key features of the 1601, including a heavy-duty, cast aluminum body and rigorous testing. This unit installs in minutes rather than hours and consists of three basic components: inverter, motor and the 1601 closer.
