The Netgear MSM4310-100NES is a fully managed switch designed for advanced network environments requiring high performance and extensive Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities. Featuring eight 2.5G PoE++ ports and two 25GBASE-X SFP28 uplinks, it includes an APS254W power adapter with a base PoE budget of 119W, expandable up to 551W with additional adapters for redundancy and higher power needs. Its half-width form factor allows for flexible rack configurations, supporting one or two switches per rack space. The switch offers robust Layer 3 routing features including static, policy-based, and dynamic routing, along with Virtual Chassis stacking for non-stop forwarding and hitless failover. Additional features include NETGEAR IGMP Plus, NETGEAR AV OS, Engage Controller for AV installations, SMPTE ST 2110 Grand Master Clock compliance for AES67 and ST2059-2 applications, and multi-color LEDs for port status visualization.
