The Original EZ-RJ45 CAT6 Connector simplifies twisted pair terminations by allowing the wires to be inserted through the connector and out the front, making it easier for technicians to verify proper wiring order. The electrical performance of the termination is optimized by pulling the connector tightly over the cable jacket and seating it securely in the rear. This reduces the distance between the wire twists and contacts, ensuring peak performance. Recommended for data applications only, the connector is rated to 1Gb and should be crimped with one of Platinum Tools' EZ-RJ45 Crimp Tools (Part Numbers 100062, 100054, or 100004). It supports cables with a max outer diameter of 0.275" (6.98mm) and max insulation diameter of 0.040" (1.016mm). Compliant with ANSI/EIA/TIA/TAA specifications, UL Listed (E188111), and RoHS3/FCC compliant, this connector features 50Mu gold-plated contacts for enhanced durability and performance. Available in a clear / transparent color and made in the USA. Platinum's EZ-RJ45 connectors and crimp tools are specifically designed to work as a system.
