The P581-006 DisplayPort to DVI-D Cable Adapter (M/M) allows you to connect a computer with a DisplayPort connection to a high-definition television or monitor with a DVI input. Digital video signals are passed through with full 1080p video resolution. Fully molded ends are designed to last a long time. The 6' (1.83m) P581-006 is a passive adapter that requires the host computer to have a DP++ dual-mode connector, which allows HDMI and DVI signals to be passed through. Check your computer's documentation for compatibility.
