The AW10-LSUB-BR is designed to add enhanced low frequency response to any outdoor audio system. While designed to be paired with our AW4-LS-BR landscape satellite loudspeaker, the unobtrusive design of the AW10-LSUB-BR after installation means that this powerful subwoofer can be easily added to any outdoor audio system.With premium components selected for both durability and audio quality, the AW10-LSUB-BR is designed to enhance audio performance with a large 10" woofer that is completely hidden out of sight with only a small canopy visible that mimics other outdoor vents and exhausts and disappears into the scenery.By adding this full bandpass design subwoofer to your audio installation, you are able to overcome the greatest obstacle to good outdoor sound, the lack of adequate bass response. An open environment is the most difficult for achieving adequate sound levels of low frequency sounds such as the bass effects required for modern music. By adding the AW10-LSUB-BR where needed in an installation, the entire system sound quality can be easily improved.Key Features | Rugged, All-Weather ConstructionThe materials chosen for the AW10-LSUB-BR are designed to provide the high quality acoustic performance that Russound customers demand when inside their home in a gorgeous, durable package that enables this powerful subwoofer to blend into the background of any landscape outside their home. The subwoofer body is made of rigid PVC with a flexible silicone elbow that allows for an easy installation and minor adjustments for height/rotation of the subwoofer and its canopy. The high rigidity yet light and nimble polypropylene cone combined with the heavy-duty butyl-rubber surround of the woofer can handle the extremes of pounding bass while simultaneously dealing with Mother Nature, withstanding sun and storm, and temperatures ranging from Maine winters down to -15° F to desert-like highs all the way up to 160° F.The visible parts of the subwoofer after installation, the tube and canopy, are both made of color-molded ASA, for maximum UV protection and resistance to chipping, fading, or peeling. Their subtle coloring allows them to blend into the background, disappearing from sight while adding superb bass performance to the system.Included silicone-filled weatherproof wire nuts allow for a secure connection of all of your wiring that will last as long as your speaker itself.Impressive AudioWith an impressive 10" woofer designed for high-power handling of up to 200 watts, the AW10-LSUB-BR is just what your audio system needs to add a richness and fullness to the sound quality of any outdoor speaker installation.The full bandpass design allows for an easy connection with any amplifier system, and the integrated internal 70V/100V transformer allows for easy connections with both high and low impedance audio systems.
