The Federal Signal PS1000 is a battery and back-up power supply designed for standby use during power outages, providing a nominal 12V DC or 24V DC output selectable by switch. This model supports two 12 amp-hour sealed lead-acid, gelled electrolyte batteries connected in series and delivers 10 amperes of current, with UL Listing for safety. Its steel enclosure is intended for indoor mounting on walls or substantial vertical surfaces and includes a key lock for security. The power supply sub-assembly incorporates solid-state circuitry that maintains battery charge while supplying DC operating voltage, supporting its use as a primary power source for various devices and systems.

  • SelecTone Power Supplies provide nominal 12v dc or 24v dc power that is switch selectable. Models PS250, PS600 and PS1000 are designed for use as standby battery back-up during a power outage
  • The steel enclosure is designed to mount on a wall or substantial vertical surface (indoor only). A key lock is provided to discourage unauthorized access - simple lock installation is required
  • The power supply sub-assembly, which recharges the batteries, includes solid-state circuitry that provides DC operating voltage to units in a SelecTone system, while maintaining a charge level on the batteries
  • All of the units can also be used as a primary 12V or 24V power source for other devices/systems
