The Protech 30742403C MIRIS 3100 Single Face Infrared Barrier delivers professional-grade perimeter protection with 8 infrared detection cells in a compact 10 ft. (3 m) tower configuration. Engineered for straight-line perimeter segments up to 656 feet (200 m), this hardwired active infrared system provides reliable intrusion detection with multiplexed and synchronized cell management through a 4-channel optical link. The integrated anti-climbing cap deters intruders from bypassing the detection field, while the built-in anti-frost thermostat heater ensures dependable year-round performance in temperatures from -40°F to +158°F. Featuring four distinct alarm outputs - Intrusion, Disqualification, Tamper, and Anti-climbing - via dry contact relays (NC, 30 VDC, 1A), the MIRIS 3100 integrates seamlessly with alarm panels and security management systems. Audible and visual alignment aids on all towers simplify installation, and optional 12 VDC battery backup provides uninterrupted operation during power outages. Ideal for utilities, substations, transportation hubs, and commercial/industrial perimeter security.
