Opti-Core Fiber Optic Cable for Passive Optical LAN applications are intended to meet the requirements for 1- and 2-fiber cables typical to passive optical networks. These indoor OS2 cables utilize a yellow, riser-rated (OFNR / FT4) thermoplastic outer jacket, aramid strength members and G.657.A1/G.652.D bend-insensitive singlemode glass with a 900Mu tight buffer. This construction enables the cable to meet the installation and performance demands normally encountered in PON architectures.
