The selectable on/off voltage protection from the dry contact port helps safeguard sensitive equipment from over/under voltage scenarios by automatically turning off the outlets during such events and restoring them once the power is within the acceptable range. The PDU also supports cleaner cable management with a standard 2ft power cord and allows for the use of both outlets without obstruction, thanks to the orientation designed for easier plugging of DC transformers (wall warts).
