The MNS-CNTRL series by LED is used as an interface between an alarm panel or voice evacuation panel and the Visual Mass Notification displays located within a facility. Messages are programmed into the system through a standard USB port located inside the controller. Messages are activated by closing a dry contact across the associated terminals inside at the bottom of the enclosure. The system is factory configured for 8, 16, 24 or 32 message capability. Messages can be programmed in the field with an ordinary laptop running Windows, connected by a standard USB cable. Messages can also be programmed the factory as a convenience to our customers. Normal system operation is indicated by an amber flashing LED. Each activated message will be indicated by a lighted LED, coresponding to the message number. When activated by your contact closure, the controller will send a command to the signs to display the selected message.
