The 2GIG XCVR2E-345 transceiver module is specifically designed to enable 2GIG GC2e security panels to communicate bidirectionally with the 2GIG TS2-E wireless touchscreen keypad over the robust 900 MHz frequency. While facilitating this 900 MHz link for the advanced TS2-E keypad, the module also maintains the GC2e panel's ability to receive signals from standard, non-encrypted 345 MHz security sensors and the 345 MHz encrypted eSeries sensors. It installs directly into the GC2e panel’s designated transceiver slot, replacing the stock receiver if necessary, to simplify system upgrades.
