The 2GIG SMKT-900 E+ Extended Range Smoke/Heat/Freeze Detector is a comprehensive life safety solution, leveraging secure 900MHz two-way encrypted wireless technology for significantly extended communication range, ideal for larger properties. This multi-criteria detector features an advanced photoelectric smoke chamber for improved recognition of smoke from various materials, including synthetics, alongside fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise heat detection, and integral freeze sensing to warn against dangerously low temperatures. A key safety enhancement is its "One Go/All Go" interconnectivity, which ensures that if one E+ smoke detector in the system alarms, all other linked E+ smoke units will also sound, providing broader and faster occupant alerts. Certified to UL 268 7th Edition requirements, the SMKT-900 also monitors and reports excessive temperature variances. Powered by replaceable batteries with a typical life of up to 3 years, this detector simplifies installation while offering robust, encrypted protection and expanded coverage as part of the 2GIG E+ sensor ecosystem, primarily designed for the 2GIG EDGE panel (FW 1.3+).
