The 2GIG DW30E-900 E+ Series Outdoor Wireless Encrypted Contact Sensor provides exceptional perimeter security for gates, garages, outbuildings, and other outdoor entry points, even in extreme weather conditions. Leveraging 2GIG's advanced E+ technology, this sensor operates on the 900 MHz frequency delivering an outstanding wireless range of up to 1.2 miles (line of sight) and features robust two-way AES encryption for secure, tamper-resistant communication with compatible 2GIG E+ panels like the Edge.Built for durability, the DW30E-900 is IP56-rated, protecting it against dust, rain, and a wide temperature range from –40°F to 140°F. Its paintable casing allows for discreet integration into any environment. This versatile sensor offers enhanced sensing flexibility with support for an external Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) dry contact input, in addition to its internal magnetic reed switch. A wide magnet gap of up to 1.3 inches accommodates various installation scenarios, including gates and oversized doors.With a long battery life of up to five years from its CR123A lithium battery and user-friendly enrollment, the DW30E-900 is designed for reliable, low-maintenance performance. It is fully supervised and ETL-listed to UL 1023 standards.
