Product Overview

The 2GIG Smoke Heat Freeze Detector has been designed to detect fire issues earlier, providing a more accurate and timely notice in the event of smoke or fire. It has been designed to recognize smoke from common synthetic materials and decrease nuisance alarms from everyday cooking. Using advanced detection algorithms and a sophisticated photo-electric optical sensor, this detector meets the UL standards UL268 7th edition.

  • Detects smoke, excessive heat, and freeze conditions in a single device
  • Advanced photoelectric optical sensor meets UL217 8th edition and UL268 7th edition requirements
  • Rate-of-Rise heat detection alerts when temperature rises 15°F or more in one minute above 104°F
  • Switchable encryption for compatibility with new and legacy 2GIG security panels
  • Projected 10-year battery life using two CR123A batteries
  • Low temperature alert triggers at 40°F to help prevent freeze damage
