Our S45-1600 pass-through RJ45 modular plugs incorporate the following features: Single Piece Design. The S45-1600 is a single-piece unshielded pass-through RJ45 modular plug for use with unshielded LAN cables. No-load bar required. Supports performance standards: ANSI/TIA 568.2-D for CAT6; ISO/IEC 11801 Class E. Solid and Stranded LAN Cables. The S45-1600 is ideal for most CAT6 UTP (unshielded twisted pair) solid 23AWG LAN cables with a maximum cable diameter of 7.0mm (0.276”). The S45-1600 also works great with stranded unshielded LAN cables such as used on patch cords/leads. Our part S45-1600 works with most stranded unshielded CAT5e and CAT6 LAN cables, but if your stranded LAN cable has a thicker outer jacket or larger cable OD commonly found on PUR jackets, then our S45-1700 may be the right solution for you.
