The ELK-W120 fused, dual connection (piggyback) battery wires are designed to facilitate the connection of two devices to a battery. For example, a backup battery for an alarm system can also be connected to an alarm sounder, allowing the sounder pull power directly from the battery. This can be helpful when using an alarm sounder with a current draw rating exceeding what is available from the output of the alarm system.
