The IG4M is a limited bandwidth "satellite" speaker, intended to be used with a subwoofer and a power amplifier with a 90Hz, 18dB/octave high pass filter (crossover) such as the NEAR 3XL series amplifier.

- Magnetic Liquid Suspension (MLS) spiderless motor uses specially developed Ferrofluid to center the voice coil and eliminate spider-generated distortion
- Dual-layer voice coil with inside and outside windings for ultra-low distortion
- Water and dust-proof (IP67) input connectors eliminate long term connection problems
- Dual speaker wire connectors allow easy daisy chain wiring
