The Aiphone AX-320C Add-On Exchange Unit is a wiring hub designed for the AX system, facilitating connectivity for up to 32 doors or substations using CAT-5e cable. It controls all functionalities of the AX system and includes 4 Master station ports with RJ45 connectors. This unit supports programmable dry contact door release rated at 24V AC/DC 500mA and can be mounted on a 19" EIA rack (2U) or wall-mounted for flexible installation. It employs Cat-5e wiring between doors/substations and the unit, with specific power supply wiring requirements, and supports cable distances up to 980 inches between doors/substations and the central exchange unit.
