The HoneywellHome 943WG is a miniature-sized magnetic contact with wire leads. The 943WG is a surface-mounted contact that comes with two pieces. The contact has two wire leads and a built-in reed switch and should be mounted on the door or window frame. The magnet, identical in size, closes the circuit when next to the contact, and should be mounted on the door or window.

The Honeywell Home 943WG comes with self-adhesive strips for easy mounting and is also equipped with cutouts for mounting with screws. The two 12” lead wires should be connected to your hardwired alarm control panel. You can connect multiple 943WG contacts on one circuit or zone of your security system. When mounting, keep in mind that the maximum standard gap between the contact and magnet of the 943WG when the door or window is closed should be just 1”.
