The AC-MXNET-1G-EV2 is an Evolution II Encoding/Transmitting device from AVPro Edge, designed for AV over IP video distribution within the MXNet Platform. It features a proprietary ASIC with an enhanced software-based video encoding/decoding engine supporting native 4K/60fps 4:4:4 signals, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X multi-channel audio, and HDR formats like Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The device encodes HDMI source signals using an optimized JPEG 2000 codec for minimal latency and efficient compression and supports RS-232, IR, and USB control signal routing. It includes a fan-less design with chip-top heatsinking, an OLED data window for configuration feedback, and USB 2.0 Type-B Host connection for USB/KVM support.
