Product Overview

The AC-DA-12X2 from AVPro Edge is a 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1b distribution amplifier designed to split a single HDMI input into two outputs, supporting resolutions up to 8K/60 fps. It features signal downscaling capabilities, allowing one output to maintain full 8K while the other can downgrade to 4K or 1080p for legacy displays and projectors. Additional features include extensive EDID management with 20 pre-configured slots, extracted multi-channel digital audio output, and fixed FRL rate settings for compatibility with first-generation displays. The unit also supports gaming-focused HDMI 2.1b functionalities like Quick Media Switching and Variable Refresh Rate for smooth gameplay. Installation and control are facilitated by a front panel USB-C port and included mounting brackets.
