This device is a 4K UHD HDMI audio downmixer that supports high bandwidth video transmission of 18Gbps and simultaneous extraction and splitting of audio signals to digital and analog outputs. It handles Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD formats up to 7.1 channels, downmixing them to stereo (LPCM 2.0) across HDMI, S/PDIF, and analog RCA connections, while supporting audio sampling rates up to 192 kHz. Featuring 4K UHD resolution support at 60Hz (YUV 4:4:4, 8-bit) on both HDMI input and output, it can also downscale 4K sources for compatibility with older displays. The device includes audio return channel (ARC) functionality for extracting local smart TV app audio and supports comprehensive HDR formats including HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG. EDID management capabilities allow for immediate reading and application of display EDIDs to inputs, facilitating smooth integration with AV systems.
