The Cleerline SSF field-installable LC & SC type connectors eliminate the need for hand polishing, epoxy, or crimping in the field. These mechanical splice connectors ensure precise fiber alignment for low loss terminations in all multimode or single mode applications. Compatible with 250µm, 900µm, 2.0mm, and 3.0mm fiber optic cabling, SSF connectors feature a unique hinge-based design and large verification windows for easy confirmation of successful termination. Key features include termination in as little as one minute, easy fiber insertion with a V-groove channel, industry-leading hinge clamp strain relief, and no requirement for proprietary tooling. Specifications include a typical insertion loss of 0.3dB (max 0.6dB) for single mode and a UPC return loss of 45dB. These connectors are suitable for all SSF fibers and standard fiber optic cabling, simplifying ordering and inventory.
