The Kidde 21031471 (Model 20SD10-CA) is a 10-year, battery-powered smoke alarm featuring enhanced photoelectric sensing technology that reduces nuisance false alarms from cooking. Designed for seamless maintenance, its sealed lithium battery lasts the entire decade, eliminating the need for battery replacements

Main Features

  • Photoelectric sensor, which is highly effective at detecting slow-smoldering fires.
  • Sealed 10-year lithium battery (battery is permanently installed and auto-activates upon installation).
  • Self-testing internal components ensure the alarm operates correctly. It features a test/hush button to easily quiet nuisance alarms.
  • Emits a loud \(85\text{ dB}\) alarm and flashes a red LED. Includes an end-of-life chirp to remind you to replace the unit after 10 years.
