The Compact Button is a long-range vehicle identification tag. This tag is based on semi-active RFID technology. It operates on a frequency with very little interference or environmental noise. In additon, the tag is battery powered to give a strong response signal, which makes it the most accurate and reliable identification system. The read range is up to 15m (50') in combination with the TRANSIT Ultimate reader. The Compact Button is the preferred choice for installations where vehicles need to be identified in a secure and most accurate manner. Typical applications include secure vehicle access to critical infrastructure and accurate identification of vehicles to enter a logistic site.
