The Outdoor Gigabit PoE Extender features hardened grade aluminum housing that is both IP67 rated and able to withstand temperature extremes of -22°F to ~131°F (-30°C to ~55°C). Two extenders can be daisy-chained to prolong the range of PoE devices such as video surveillance cameras or wireless access points, reaching up to 984 feet (300 meters) from end to end. No power adapter is required, as the extender is powered by a PoE injector or PoE switch through one CAT5/6 UTP cable. Extended Ethernet range varies based on power consumption of the powered device and PoE budget per port.
