Dahua Technology USA Inc. is a subsidiary of Dahua Technology, a global leader of video surveillance equipment manufacturing, according to an IHS 2018 report. Dahua Technology USA brings high-value, total security solutions to the North American market by focusing on integrity and personal relationships to enhance the customer experience. Through continued investment and growth from within, Dahua provides industry leading technical capabilities and breakthrough technological advances, these including advancements such as our enhanced Power over Ethernet (ePoE) Technology, Night Color Technology, and HD over Coaxial cable (HDCVI) Technology. Dahua strives to provide comprehensive end-to-end security solutions that meet the unique and growing security demands of multiple verticals with our broad range of offerings, inclding our Security System Kits.
Dahua's innovative Enhanced Power over Ethernet (ePoE) technology offers a plug-and-play solution to transmit power and data over long distances via Ethernet or coaxial cables, reducing installation time and saving money. ePoE is a viable solution for extending transmission distances and for converting existing, coax-based analog systems into IP systems. For video security and surveillance installers, ePoE technology saves time and money by reducing overall cabling requirements, allowing for existing coax cable to be used, and minimizing the number of peripheral devices needed. For new installations, ePoE offers the ability to design long-distance applications without the need for additional repeaters.
ePoE encompasses pure IP systems where a single CAT 5 cable can carry signals up to 800 m (2624 ft), and IP/Analog hybrid systems where the technology leverages existing analog infrastructure to transmit power and data up to 1000 m (3281 ft) over RG59 coaxial cable. ePoE technology seamlessly integrates the latest high-definition IP cameras with a coaxial infrastructure using the Ethernet over Coaxial (EoC) protocol to convert between analog and IP power and data transmissions.
Dahua Night Color cameras offer 24-hour color video surveillance in applications with at least 1 lux of ambient light. These cameras do not require external IR or white-light illumination for truly covert surveillance. Night Color technology is also an economical option, consuming 1/3 to 1/2 of the wattage required by cameras with IR illumination. Dahua’s Night Color Network dome or bullet cameras incorporate back-illuminated pixel technology, a large aperture achromatic lens, and an advanced sensor to deliver crisp, clear color images suitable for identification-level monitoring. This light-sensitive technology allows the camera to capture more available light and reproduce color images with superior detail and contrast. Dahua Night Color Technology IP cameras are available in 2MP and 4MP dome and bullet options and are ideal parking lots, schools, urban streets, and museums.
The Dahua Security System Kits provide all the components to quickly install, configure, and employ a complete video surveillance solution. The Dahua kits offer up to 12 HDCVI or Network cameras, a compatible storage device, and detailed instructions for quick setup. The kit options include 4K cameras for stunning images and 4K recording devices that offer built-in motion detection algorithms, alarm triggers, customized recording modes, and Smart H.265 video compression to reduce bit rate and storage requirements. The HDCVI kits support multiple video outputs making the kit compatible with many existing systems, and features Dahua's HDCVI technology that leverages an existing coaxial infrastructure, saving time and costs from running networking and power cables. The Network kits features Plug and Play technology to connect quickly to cameras on the same network, and each component accepts a PoE power supply to facilitate installation.
Dahua HDCVI cameras and Penta-brid HDCVI DVRs support multiple video formats including, HDCVI, CVBS, AHD, and TVI. The camera can switch between these four formats via the OSD menu or the switch located on the video output cable making the camera compatible with not only HDCVI DVRs but also most existing HD/SD DVRs. The HDCVI DVR automatically recognizes the incoming signals of each attached camera without any setup, making installation easy and operation convenient.
